Ranka Lee=Nakajima Megumi – Aimo

‘Aimo’, insert song in the Macross Frontier anime.

This song is used all through the series and is performed by Ranka Lee (Nakajima Megumi) as well as by Sheryl Nome (chatacter voice by Endou Aya, singing voice by May’n).

With the English transcription of the gibberish lyrics, Rs should be slightly trilled, like a cross between an R and an L. Vowels should be pronounced as short vowels and individually, as in Latin.

Translation notes
As it has already been a few years since Macross Frontier this should be common knowledge, but most of the lyrics are in a language invented by Kanno Youko, writing under her pseudonym of Gabriela Robin. The word “Aimo” is said in Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa to mean “my dear”, and the song is supposedly a love song for the Vajra race.
